Cheap Lunches
Need lunch? Is it 3 days before pay day and you’re scraping for nickels? Here are some cheap lunch ideas I’ve come across.
Frozen Entree
There’s no ending to the supply of frozen entrees you can find for less than $5 at the grocery store. Combine one with a candy bar or an apple and you’re set!
Hot Pockets
Hot Pockets might be natures most perfect food (replacing hot dogs!). They’re cheap and filling. If you’re careful, you might be able to get a package for less than $3!
Big Fat Salad
It’s surprising what a big fat salad can do for you during the day. There’s a grocery store near work with a fairly decent salad bar. Putting together a nice salad is easy to do for less than $5!
General Tso’s Chicken
The General can provide a supremely tasty lunch on the cheap! There’s a China Kitchen near my workplace that has a lunch portion for $4.25!
